This was our kitchen looking onto a small dining room when we moved in.
The dining room was a tiny room that had once been an exterior porch, complete with lead painted interior clapboards on the interior wall. It had only two tiny vinyl windows and was mainly taken over by a closet that held heating ducts.
We took down the wall in between the two rooms, and put in four restored antique windows. There is nothing that compares to the quality and beauty of the wavy, antique glass.
